Finally, New Mac OS X Lion comes with Myanmar Unicode fonts with Keyboard Layout, I'm so proud that Apple recognized our mother language 🙂
Recent additions and updates. Ukelele John Brownie, 2019-09-05 Ukelele is a Unicode keyboard layout editor for Mac OS X versions 10.2 and later. The latest beta release version, 3.4b2, is available for download, and can be used on Mac OS X 10.9 and later.
If you want to change Myanmar Unicode Keyboard Layout in Mac OS X Lion, Please follow below steps…
Step1. Go to System Preferences from Apple icon
Step2. Click Language and Text
✔ Tick the check mark Keyboard & Character Viewto view keyboard layouts
Step3. Click Input Sources
✔ Tick the check mark to Myanmar -QWERTY
Step4. For Keyboard shortcut (command+space bar) for switching between English & Myanmar Qwerty Keyboard layout
✔ Tick the check mark Select the previous input source

Here's how to insert unicode in Microsoft Windows 10, Mac, Linux.
Suppose we want to insert this character:

This works in WordPad, Microsoft word. Does not work in Notepad.
To launch WordPad, press âx9D–Window key, then type wordpad

.Note: you must have NumLock on.
Press ⌘command+Ctrl+Space to bring up the Characters palette
You can hold ⌥option key and press a letter/digit key to insert some unicode/math symbols.
You can also create your own keyboard layout to insert emoji/symbols you use often.

How to input unicode depends on your desktop or application.
In Gnome, Press Ctrl+Shift+U, then type the hexadecimal digits, then press Enter.
In LibreOffice 5.1 or later, type the hexadecimal then press Alt+x
In emacs, Alt+xinsert-char
, then type the hexadecimal.
Emacs can also insert by decimal, by name, or setup keyboard shortcuts to insert frequently used ones.
